Testimonials

Kingston Shared Enterprise is at the hub of the community helping budding entrepreneurs with neurodiversity that wouldn’t ordinarily be able to fit into a 9-5 job.

The support has enabled me to grow my business from a dream to reality. Without the help of Colin, Molly & Chantell.

I’m a single parent with ADHD and Dyslexia. I’m also a carer for my son who also has ADHD.

Shared enterprise has offered me a sounding board for my ideas, and the confidence to believe in my goals. It also helps with networking and having a base to complete tasks and concentrate.

Having mental health conditions such as panic attacks and dyslexia while studying at university and being a single parent is extremely difficult at times to focus and work fulltime.

The Enterprise helps me feel involved and a sense of purpose from the group and leaders weekly. It’s also insightful when the speakers come in and give their story and advice, as it give you the time to work at your own pace without the pressures of satisfying a boss.

I’m an artist who suffers from dyslexia, dyspraxia, severe combined type ADHD, severe Irlen’s syndrome and high anxiety. I’m also a carer for my autistic daughter.

I have been an active member of the group since it began and have benefitted so much that I have introduced friends to it. Being part of the group gave me the confidence and practical support to allow my art business to thrive.

The group is extremely inclusive and allow my daughter to come with me in school holidays.

I’ve had a lot of practical help from the facilitators who have helped me with my business admin, declarations to HMRC & benefits and also assisted me with marketing.

Shared Enterprise has changed my life. My confidence is much improved and my anxiety is lowered. Knowing that I have a supportive environment to visit each week relieves a lot of stress and worry.

I am a business owner who struggles with my emotional well-being. In Shared Enterprise I benefit greatly from hearing other business owners express their problems, ideas, practical solutions and successes. This helps me address similar issues I face and sometimes I share these too in the group. This is a non-judgemental group and I guess the clue to the benefits get is in the name; “SHARED ENTERPRISE”. For me, this is it’s USP!

I also benefit from the ‘one-to-one’ sessions with Shared Enterprise experts and the experts they get in to talk on business topics such as social media, business development and finance.

The support of the group has been essential for me and the support of other members speaking freely and openly without judgement is a great quality of the group. Everyone wants the best for each other, so to call it a group, doesn’t do itself justice, it’s so much more. Like a one stop shop for all support.

It’s a fantastic support network. We all have different businesses at different stages of development however this seems to make the group stronger. We all have different skills and knowledge of business development which is essential going forward with a business.
The amount of trust we have in brainstorming our ideas and fellow members helping each other the best way we can is so reassuring.

I wanted to say that I really appreciate all the support that I have received from Kingston Shared Enterprise. Since I joined during lockdown in 2020, I have attended almost every meeting.

I love that I am able to share with members problems that I am facing running my initiatives and getting different ideas from everyone. It's the emotional support that I get from Kingston Shared Enterprise that sets it apart from any other business networking or business club that I have attended. I really like the format of one week having an expert talking about a particular subject and the following week it's about sharing our problems and bouncing off ideas on how to solve those problems.
